About Us
Our History
Gateway Christian School was founded during the late 1990’s. It began as Riverside Christian Preschool which was started during 1993 to help the children living in the low-cost housing area of Oribi Village to begin their education at an early age.
Today we have over 400 children from Grade RR to Grade 7. We have recently installed “white” electronic boards in some of the classrooms and teachers are being trained to use digital methods of teaching. Grades 3 to Grade 7 all do computer lessons as part of the curriculum.
Our aim is for the participants to become fully qualified in computer literacy and develop the potential to become productive individuals in their communities. This will equip Grade 7 children with the necessary resources as they enter High School.
Our Vision
To enable children to receive quality education and to teach them the Godly values upon which our school is based.
